Do I even blog anymore? What is up with that? I’m just going to jump right in and pretend like I haven’t been missing in action for a very long time, kay?

Bubby and I worked on a freelance project together for a couple of weeks and that’s when everything else got pushed to the back burner. It was fun to be doing something other than fixing meals and cleaning up after kids, and really fun to work with Bubby again, but I am so glad that is over. Bubby was working all kinds of crazy hours (seriously crazy, even for a work-til-the-job-is-done dude like him) and I was flying it solo with the kids.

It seems like as soon as Halloween is here, the rest of the year just flies by in a blur. We have a lot of family birthdays in November (including my own), then it’s Thanksgiving and suddenly Christmas before I even know what happened. Family get-togethers, traveling, shopping, it all just becomes a giant whirlwind.

I cannot believe that it is the Christmas season already. I feel very unprepared. Although, as of today we do have our tree up. It still needs about 500 ornaments but it is up and lit. Lit up like a Christmas tree, heh. I am sleep deprived and a little bit loopy tonight, folks.

Lokie started running a fever Friday night when we were at my brother’s house and she has been up off and on the past two nights. Her temp was 104 sometime early this morning. She has been miserable, which in turn hasn’t made the rest of us very happy. I am very much hoping we all get to sleep through the night tonight, but I kind of doubt it.
