This is my new workspace in our recently remodeled basement. It is actually a closet, but it’s a really big lovely closet and it has a window. This was all that was in the closet when I took these photos. Now that we are moving all of our clothes in, it currently looks like a yard sale exploded all over the place, but we are making progress.

Bubby bought the filing cabinet and the other metal cabinet to the left of the art desk from a gentleman that worked in his office building who was getting rid of furniture. Vintage metal cabinets? I’ll take two, please. I haven’t changed the labels on the filing cabinet yet. The filing cabinet is a little rusty, but that just adds to the charm, right?

I haven’t had much time to work on anything down there and I still need a good chair. But it is all there patiently waiting for me to come and play.
