Quit Stressing Me Out–I Have High Blood Pressure
I had yet another doctor’s appointment this morning and I am 3 cm dilated! WOOP! WOOP! I would apologize to all of my male readers, but this is how every single baby comes into the world, so you are going to have to GET OVER IT. My blood pressure is still up and the proteinuria was a bit worse than on Wednesday. I have an ultrasound scheduled for Monday and if things have not improved then I will probably be induced next week.
Here is where I have been spending my days:
Last night I had a brief reprieve when we went to Lowe’s to look at finishes for the basement, which isn’t finished but we can still shop, can’t we? Riding around in one of those motorized scooter thingees isn’t nearly as much fun as you might think. They aren’t very fast and the batteries, they die, and you may or may not be located at the back of the store when that happens.
I seem to have done something to my neck. I have to be the only person alive who can injure themselves while RESTING. I think I pulled something this morning when I was talking on the phone and holding the phone to my ear with my chin. OW.
That’s all the excitement I have for you today. I hope you are doing something more fun than laying in a recliner watching back-to-back episodes of CSI: NY.

I’m sorry, but the image of you riding one of those scooters is hilarious to me. More so that it died on you at the back of the store. But only because I know you found your way home. It would be tragic to be stuck at Lowe’s forever. (grin)
(3 cm. WOW!)

L. Yes, the image of you on one of the “grandma scooters” at Lowe’s has me grinning. Do they let you ride it all the way to your car?!? Or does Bryan just pick you up at the “lumber loading entrance”? That mental image is almost just as funny! Just think, you’ll be back to normal before you know it.
