It’s Not a Butterfly. It’s a Ladybug.
Yesterday Arwyn had her last field trip of the school year. This time it was to the Children’s Museum and it was the first one I did not stay for, even though she cried the night before when I told her I wasn’t going to. She is already so good at the guilt trip, and she doesn’t even know what it is. Then, when she was the last child to be picked up (a lot of them ride buses) she said “You didn’t come and get me.” Um, actually I did, it was just FIVE WHOLE MINUTES after everyone else had left and you were with five adult teachers for that five whole minutes.
Her school year has been fantastic. I have loved her teachers, the environment she is in, and I can’t really think of anything negative to say about any of it. I recommend her school to anyone who asks me about it and I hope Baby Sister can go there in a few years as well. She has a parent-teacher conference next week and only five more days of school. I don’t know about her, but I am really going to miss school this summer!
I think I might try to make these as end of the year gifts for her teachers. Thanks, Addison’s Mommy, for drawing the “ladybug” face yesterday!
