Breakfast
This is a post about cooking. I have actually cooked breakfast two days this week so far, and it’s only Wednesday! Monday I cooked ALL THREE MEALS. Martha ain’t got nuthin’ on me. Of course, by the end of Monday I was sitting on the couch crying because I was so exhausted and felt like I’d been run over by a Mac truck, but that’s another story. Ahem. I’m not so good at the not doing a whole lot and I tend to disregard how easily and quickly I tire these days. Then I pay for it later.

These are the scones again, but today I decided to be brave and add some fresh strawberries to the mix. They made the dough very wet and sticky. Perhaps this is why the recipes says “if you use berries, make sure they are frozen”. Oops. They still turned out ok. I baked them a few minutes longer and sprinkled a little sugar on top.
These didn’t taste quite as good as I thought they would. Maybe because the strawberries probably aren’t in season yet? Maybe because I’ve made them with cinnamon chips and chocolate chips in the past? Still, not too shabby.
